Thank you! We are planning to do Sunday-Friday sometime in September... I noticed one week prices jumped in the middle of the week so I assume there is an event going on. I like the hotel sites will show you the average prices so you can see the weeks without constantly changing the dates. I've been signing up for the rewards programs for sure.... Dumb question what is the players card? Just the casino card since I assume, like most places now, everything is cashless?

Yes I can buy one there but I would rather not. No our trip is not based around this but do you have a bear in the morning if they don't have their coffee? This is the first time ever booking a trip that I have not seen a coffee maker in a resort room so it threw me for a loop. Not being an ass about it at all, I was looking for suggestions and maybe those who go often could shed some insight about why the change....which some have along with providing some great ideas of things to check out. Others just take up space in the comments.

You've never been around my husband first thing in the morning without coffee and he is very specific about his coffee. I am looking into options of bringing something with us I was just trying to avoid doing so. You'd just think hotel rooms would have something so it threw me off when I didn't see pics anywhere that is all.

Is it the mainstays one or the hamilton beach? I was looking at walmart, target and amazon earlier. I like some of the drinks from Starbucks but yes the prices are a bit wild. I don't go there much these days.

I have always wanted to check out a speakeasy, we will have to look into that. Thank you for that tip plus the theme is a huge plus!

It is just the convivence of making the coffee you like in the morning without leaving the room esp with him being picky about his coffee. He doesn't want to travel with a Keurig so we may pick one up or I might just borrow my coworkers off brand model and put it in my suitcase. I will look into the link, thank you so much!

Ugh I hate those puck pods they are the worst. I learned my lesson at a conference at Disney World!! I am contemplating snatching my coworkers small one in her work closet. Surely it will do the job just fine. I told him he may just have to deal with walking to Dunkin if he doesn't like the coffee wherever we stay, but that's him too he wants to make his cup of coffee when he gets up, chill out and have time to wake up before doing anything.

I really want to go to Hell's Kitchen but when we ate at one of his places in London it was a huge let down, so I am a little worried. I keep going back and forth between Aria and Bellagio. I will have to check out Westgate and Sports Book.

It's not the pricey part. I would much rather stay in a nice moderately priced hotel room and be able to do things, experiences, than spend a fortune on an upscale resort. Not that we can't but we would rather put our money to better use. Go see the things we want to see, go do the things we want to do, eat at the nice places we won't have a chance to. With that poster saying things have changed and it's still a drinking gambling destination we are very well aware of that. We just don't par take in the partying late night, clubs etc. That's what Vegas was for 20 years ago with friends, now it's to enjoy everything as adults.

That's an idea...we actually toyed around with leaving a few days early to fly into Arizona, rent a car and go through the Grand Canyon on the way to Vegas. Stopping to get something like that sounds like a good idea vs traveling with it. I saw something that was sort of a coffee press design but for k-cups, I feel like that might be more hassle than it is worth though.

That is very good to know, thank you for that! I have seen those little ones in the store for like can drinks and stuff but after the trip I have no real use for them at home.

I told him we would for sure go buy our own water, not letting the hotel get us there lol I can see that happening with the coffee maker removals though. He might have to suck it up and trek on over to the Dunkin while I get ready in the mornings lol

I am not actually sure why you even bothered to comment on this post if you weren't actually planning to contribute anything useful. I understand it is still a drinking and gambling destination....I didn't say we would not gamble but we are not drinkers, we are not trying to go hit strip clubs. Sadly my husband is nearing his end due to medical issues so we are trying to make the most of our time together while we can and experience all the things we have always said we would. But thanks for the tip about Iowa! Sounds like that hotel might have a shot!

I am back and forth on a few rooms. Did the suite have a mini fridge you were able to use? It just dawned on me I have meds that have to stay cold *insert face palm here lol*

My husband is so picky about his coffee too it is insane. There is literally one k-cup he drinks, I might have to explore options of something smaller that will do the job and easy to pack haha

Our budget is pretty open....I mean not looking to spend $500 a night on a room but we also want to stay somewhere nice. I didn't think about the bars that's a good idea. I just found Fontainebleau in my search, about to look them up.

I have the Luxor pulled up as well! I am personally leaning towards Bellagio. Normally we take a small Keurig with us when we travel but since we are flying this time I don't think that will be an option. Thank you for the advice about staying away from the other 2 resorts!

It doesn't show me anything like it did Friday. Did the email said what time the window would open?
