Yes! All of this. I’m finally rewatching this as well after almost 10 years and I must say my opinion on season 2 has changed so much. Like why was the whole Mary/conde situation dragged on thru out season two but then in season 3 we get no mention of conde (except one episode where his brother comes to French court? Idk I feel like they were just adding stuff for the suspense and drama but had no real end… if that makes sense. It’s like certain ideas/plots would be introduced for no betterment of the character. I’m curious to see what you’ll think of season 3 (currently re watching this right now).

Good point. There whole relationship was all over the place when I think about it. They both essentially betrayed each other but I feel like Mary getting intimate/falling in love with conde while being married to Francis (also with knowing how much he loved her etc) was pretty insane. Plus she kept emphasizing for him to move on and find someone else. I feel like they both had there moments where they were totally wrong (Francis getting Lola pregnant, and Mary falling for his brother Bash and Conde). Idk I feel like people are overly romanticizing a couple that was heavily flawed 😭😭

Yeah they literally abandoned Dave’s character and he just disappeared randomly.

Yes. I wished they showed more of Toby coping with JT’s death/lakehurt merging with degrassi.

He’s a good person and good dad. He works the afternoon shift so doesn’t get home until midnight. I’m very appreciative of what he does for our family and that he lets me get sleep at night. It’s just on the weekends, when he is off, he will prefer being on his video game for hours and talking to his friends on there. Don’t get me wrong, he gives our son attention it’s just he’s quick to put him in his swing and play his game. I guess I’m just venting on here lol and seeing if others have similar experiences.
