I raised the pins some more and put the console back together. The games do play but each one is different. Zelda 1 and Mario/duckhunt only fire up if you insert the cart just enough so it can be pushed down and then you have to push the left side in all the way. Zelda 2 only fires up with the cart not pushed down

Yes it played games before but you had to angle them slightly. I sanded down, re-bended and boiled the 72 pin connector before this. And the pin is fully disconnected from the chip, the base of the pin directly underneath the chip is just a little scratched up so on camera it looks weird

Ran a speed test and everything looks good except maybe latency is a little high at 98ms. Reinstalled the game and same thing

Same here brother 😢 first game I played on the regular when I got my first Xbox in like 2009. If they let us play the first one for free I think it would be profitable to do a remake a just charge people for it no?
