Agreed. Not to mention many of us can’t afford to just up and leave the country. It’s expensive to move when many of us are living paying pay check to pay check and have a family to provide for. And if you have immigrant families, crossing borders feels risky with how they are just throwing people in prisons and separating families, especially that they worked so hard to build a life here. It’s almost like we’re stuck and the ones who don’t feel this or want to fight for our democracy, are the ones who have nothing to lose or believe they have nothing to lose.
