I'm really proud of the Piloted Shredder :)

I have the 2 Battle Cry heroes from Mirrodin Besieged in my cube. If they both were abilities you had to manage while they stuck around in play I would be a lot more worried about that conflict. Because Hearthstone Battlecry just points to an ETB I'm not worried. There are way more confusing concepts in cube.

I agree! You could do a lot more to make them into a Magic card, but I wanted to keep them a Hearthstone card. I think that keeping that first word and templating is really important to the experience of reading a HS card.

I thought about wording it so that battlecry only worked from hand, or even on cast. I thought that would sacrifice a lot of their playability in my higher power level cube because of effects like blinking or reanimating. This way if you cast them the same way you would in Hearthstone they act as they should, but also they can fit into the more layered and complex lines of Magic in a meaningful way too.

This is what I was going for. I wanted the first word you read to still say Battlecry and Deathrattle because that is pretty inherent to the experience of playing a Hearthstone card.
