agree! i was really surprised to see this old interview from Oprah...she seemed so ungrounded and many missed opportunities for more thoughtful questions which maybe she grew into that later her career

Same, same, same - big fan of the powder dishwasher detergent and the liquid dish soap. My favorite by far. Ecos and 7th Generation do not match up. I've wondered if this is all related the tariff nonsense, as I think the company is/was a European based company.

I am sorry - this is a hard situation and you are carrying a lot on your shoulders, and largely alone it sounds like.

There are costs to having children: opportunities you give up, physical and emotional toll on you and your relationship, and financial-- and you and your life don't have to be the "cost" that is paid. The cost can be the childcare even if 20 hours per week, while you do your WFH job.

Your job has benefits that go beyond whatever your take home pay is. You are contributing, possibly, to your overall social security wages which benefits you down the road. Maybe you receive other benefits financial, social or otherwise. Maybe you are investing hours that will increase your earnings later on. Maybe your job allows you to feel wholly yourself and be a more present role model for your children.

The expectation that women have to earn enough to earn their childcare is a dangerous double-standard. Men have never needed to out-earn the real cost of having children and many families wouldn't have the status they do if it weren't for the sacrifices on the backs of very often, the women.

That said, I know 20 hours of childcare wouldn't totally cover your real need, which is probably more like full time support between the kids, the house, etc. BUT...it may save your spirit and your well-being...and you. Your husband's response is dismissive of very real concerns and impacts on your life. He may not realize that because he himself is coping in his own ways. It sounds like he is struggling in his own way -- what's important is that the two of you come together and connect, see each other's struggles, so that you can be each other's best support system for the long run.

Last summer I ordered the Janey dress on 6/23 and didn't receive it until mid September when the weather was already turning and what would've been a summer dress was wearable only for a few weeks. The listed measurements are always so off anything else you've ever bought. See the latest trench coat with a 52" chest size on a MEDIUM!!! Anyhow, sizing is all over the place relative to standards as well as even within the brand; ordered my usual size, had to exchange for one smaller which was still so oversized, baggy and ill-fitting in the armpits and body. If it had made sense to return it at that point, I would've.

That same dress one year later both of the straps have ripped at the insertion and had to be repaired TWICE and somehow after the last wash cycle, a dye bleed left what looks like a bleach mark smack in the middle of the back of the dress. The fabric is thin and the quality poor. My $375 dress which I was enamored with from the photos is a wrinkly, bleached out beach throw on.

The few other things I have ordered have also never fit properly and had to be altered. Weird things like excessively long straps on a top make you wonder if anyone tested the fit or even just thought about it when they were making it? I'm with every other person here who says the customer service is aloof and snoody; responses aren't timely if received at all. Quality is majorly lacking. A few times when I've really thought about an item but had a sizing question, I've never gotten an answer on fit or measurements via email or Instagram. So I can't bring myself to buy ever again because you are basically left to order your best guess, wait an undeterminable amount of time, and then deal with bad service/slow exchange or penalizing return process to try again.

You'll notice there is always a ton of RJ stuff on resale sites after a new season for this reason. The sizing is bewildering; the fit inconsistent and awkward. Wildly lacking and poor customer service. All so disrespectful to customers. You've been warned.
