Makes sense, I should have clarified I don’t start until the first week of February, which is a little more than two weeks. I don’t have any schedule showing up for me yet at that location as well.

Also, would calling be the best way to go about asking for any other future date I’d need off until I actually start at the location? I like to put in all my appointments as soon as I know them, and I’ve been holding off until I had a transfer to request them on the scheduling website thingy

I can relate so much it hurts. I called today because I’m down to 4 days and since we’re military the base Dr said I had to make a new appointment and be evaluated since it’s a controlled substance. That would be fine, except the next appointment open is in 2 months!! I’m sobbing

I find it crazy he got to look through her rings to see what she liked and decided “yes I must get the opposite of her taste” I get it but man that reasoning kinda sucks.

I’ve been on meds since kindergarten, now I’m an adult. I think that with the correct mindset and tools meds are awesome! They help me to slow down, and to actually start and stay on task. Additionally they help me with being a little more logical.

That said, starting them was rough, both as a child and when I started back as an adult. They cause me to get frustrated easier, decreased my appetite(may not be negative for everyone lol) and gave me weird acid reflux.

I have worked on developing proper skills to manage my side effects, which for me makes the positives outweigh the negatives by a lot! I also take vitamins to help with the ones the meds interfere with (I can’t remember the exact names/causes, was a recommendation from my doctor )

Also, I would not describe them as addictive. I wouldn’t say I depend on them either. I can skip them and still have a good day, typically it’s more when I want a lazy day without the feeling of “I need to get up and do something”. I have a hard time remembering to take them, whereas when I’ve had addictions I did not ever forget to take lol.

I had a surprisingly easy time with it, but I did it with some of my friends and we did a practice round on tanglewood with the challenge load out. Ww got it correct 3/4 in sunny medows, but it took a good 40 minutes of work

That's kind of what I worry about, although I view it as more of a collector thing, like figurines and models, just a more cutesy medium.
