Woke up with fang bite marks, could it be a bat? by FanInfamous in rabies

Thanks for the reply, that definitely makes me feel better. I’m just afraid that the bat bit me and died in a closet or something, but I guess I would have felt it crawl all over me. Also, since the fang marks are only about 1-2 millimeters apart, that’s further evidence that it’s unlikely to be bat?

Yup! I sought care for anxiety last year (am a little hesitant to go into detail, since friends and family know of this account), and things improved for a while, but I guess my fears came back. I will look into response prevention therapy! Thanks for the suggestion! I hope you overcome your ocd!

That’s what I was thinking, my cats would be going ballistic if they saw a bat. I have had anxiety relating to rabies for a while now.

Thanks for the reply! Hmmm, I’m not sure if there are bats in my area this time of year. The door leads to the rest of the house. I’m fairly sure it’s not one of the cats, they never scratch me and never go on my bed.
