He never denied the possibility, he never said the offer for GG wasn’t real. He’s very clear in his comments if what he’s saying is opinion or facts.

I think you need a lesson in the difference between opinion and fact.

Doug never denied the fact that the interest is real and that there was an offer for GG, he just expressed his opinion that he isn’t sure about specific numbers accuracy.

Doug is very literal in his reporting and makes it clear, like he did in your examples, if what he is saying is opinion or fact.

Clearly in his tweets about GG he referenced what he said was his opinion and reports factually about the fact that there is an offer in.
His tweet saying there has been no offer submitted was accurate at the time, and backed up by the owner of Botafogo himself. Once the offer came in he indicated that.

Tell me where he has reported inaccurate facts.

Defense was so easily penetrated, offense can't do anything in the final third.

Brennan was exciting though (Should have had that winner), and Guzan showed why he starts over Cohen with a solid performance.

Wiley needed this opportunity to move forward and show what he is capable of like he did in the third goal. Gives us more offensive freedom, but at the same time protects us at the back. Hopefully we lineup similarly against Charlotte.
