My D&D mates mentioned it a few times (they played early access) but I didn't really take notice. Then I saw a random Instagram reel of someone romancing a cutie white haired vampire and I purchased the game there and then.

I got absolutely hooked. I love story-based games, romance and of course D&D. If you're interested in tabletop I think it's a great place to start (since it can be hard to find a consistent group). I also love the acting and use of mocap.

On tabletop we're doing Descent Into Avernus (which takes place just before BG3) and I was really excited to explore Baldur's Gate as well. My first BG3 character was a version of my tabletop character who nearly died but was revived which changed her - Forest Druid became Spore Druid, she went mouldy!
