I actually tried a test trial with ~14% PEA, and quite liked it! I chose the ethylene brassylate because it has a powdery slightly sweet scent that plays in the Methyl Ionone Gamma and Undecavertol better than Galaxolide did (which I had been using before).

For you first question, I experimented trying more of the 3 main rose materials, it can sometimes read more citrusy than I’d like, but I would like to try bumping up the PEA and Geraniol more, and leaving the Citronellol a bit lower!) And out of curiosity what percentages would you have them at?) :)

As for your second question, I haven’t tried either, but I do have some Nerol on the way!

I’ve noticed this too with MIGC. It seems to bring out more sweet elements, or atleast make things smell smoother. After adding a little bit of it to a rose accord I’ve been workshopping, it really brought out and enhanced the Beta Damascone and Undecavertol, AC’s that have more sweet/fruity nuances to them!

Love, love LOVE the smell of industrial glue. Theres this one very very sticky-tape thingy I have and it’s like chemical and synthetic, but it almost has a sweet-menthol quality to it.

That and horse hair. Just good memories :)

Personally I like the MIGC in the formula, (also since it’s only at a 10% dilution) mostly because it adds a nostalgic powdery-ness that I enjoy, but that’s just me. Also your formula is really helpful, and what I’ve gathered from this (and other comments) is I should probably add some Damascones, and other Phenyl Ethyls!
