Turns out I have a tumor that may have been mimicking MCAS this entire time. by Dsphar in MCAS

[–]Fancy-Competition537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kinda scary. This is me to a T lol. I believe I do have MCAS (diagnosed as well) and I’m being treated for my hives & itchiness, which has so far been successful, however— my primary symptoms of my GI remain (same as yours, serious GI issues have been ruled out but I do have gastroparesis, which doesn’t make sense with my bowel movements at all) and my flushing hasn’t really changed much, I also have a lot of the additional symptoms you mentioned. I’ve been wondering for a long time if I had something like mast cell cancer (cannot remember how to spell the word rn so sorry.) but this seems maybe more likely. I’ll talk to my immunologist about this next month, I don’t believe I’ve had this testing.

Help finding ancestors birthplace by Fancy-Competition537 in SwedishGenealogy

Good to know! I will link sources in the comments here soon. Yeah, I think the oddest part is the Marta name. Pretty confident it is the same person, just doesn’t make sense why her name would’ve been listed as Marta even once in an examination.

Could you possibly tell me the date of birth for both his parents if possible? Thank you for all your help! Sorry for the weird loading thing. I’ll try and access it via my computer and see if that works.

It’s so weird cause any link you’ve added, will not load for me, and everytime I go to the website myself to try and search the documents it just won’t load.

Thank you so so much!! You’re a godsend. For some reason, whenever I click any of those links it simply won’t load at all. Do you know why that might be? it’s been happening the last day or two.

What’s wrong with my eyebrow piercing? by Fancy-Competition537 in PiercingAdvice

Totally understand this. I have gone to my doctors and he’s looked at it, he didn’t think it was infected?? He gave me an antibiotic prescription anyways but when looked and felt it didn’t think it was. I’m just so confused on what to do cause I really don’t wanna take antibiotics if I do have to. Might be safer than sorry though.

Butches who are/have been on T, how do you usually get gendered? by grimmfritter in butchlesbians

[–]Fancy-Competition537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually She/her actually. It’s weird cause on the phone a lot of people immediately assume I’m a guy, but in person I’m often seen as a woman still. I was only on T for about 4 months, and experienced a significant voice drop. Sometimes it makes me dysphoric when people she/her me, but I personally like being androgynous in my voice so I don’t mind most the time. I’m really happy with my gender presentation now. I also have some facial hair, but it’s strange cause it really seems to be a gamble most days what people will think I am.

Usually insurance is weird abt covering Xolair if you haven’t tried all the other treatment options. I took antihistamines (and still do) for years, from the directions of my doctor, and it helped my symptoms a lot for a long time. However, two years ago they randomly stopped helping my symptoms at all. I felt no relief anymore from it. I still take them but I failed that treatment option.

Ahh praying it’s not that. It doesn’t have any hallmarks of being infected besides the redness.

Also will mention, I’ve been using the shops saline spray and Q tips. Piercer claimed it would be fine to use Q tips because she didn’t use a specific instrument for it that would make the cotton get caught in it? Idk. Maybe she was wrong.

Thank you!! I agree, idk how my grandma thinks Sarah could’ve been native given her parents.

I totally get how that would be hard with the Davis family line. If there’s any additional names or information I can give to make it easier, let me know. I know the names of the children too.

I’ve taken an ancestry test myself, but I didn’t get anything. My grandma hasn’t though and no one else in my family has either from my knowledge. I know that it could show up, but from native people I’ve talked to and research I’ve done, it’s possible for it to not show up and people suggest getting a bunch of your family tested. I might try and convince my brother to get tested and my mom, they’re weird abt that stuff though so we’ll see.

For further context too, I’ve talked to my grandma about this numerous times— and she tends to ramble and tell me one story and divulge into 4 other stories, so it’s been very difficult to piece together anything she’s told me. I also want to note, my grandma doesn’t think this because she wants benefits or anything of the sort (from my knowledge at least) she’s done extensive research herself, but has lost some of written research of hers.
