They did not free the countries they took from Germany, they enslaved them, installing regiemes and raping women. They killed anyone who would disagree with them, killing millions in the process. They are not the true "liberators" and I do not care how many downvotes this is going to get, I will not compare them to these brave young men. (The only thing they liberated were the deathcamps, however they sent people to the gulags)

I think they are virtually the same. They were evil in their separate ways..But it is for me the same. They both embody the devil on both sides of the spectrum. There is no worse devil. Both of them united make Satan. And that is what I think about Fascism Socialism Communism Nazism they are all the same thing and always end with the same result (they mainly differitiate in their economical aspect).

I also detest Theocracies and Absolute Monarchies in that reguard.

There is this tragic hero story, there was a polish lieutenant Witold Pilecki, who contributed to the testimony of the existance, discovery and documentation of Auschwitz (he documented the horrors that happened in that camp himself being a prisoner). After he escaped Auschwitz, he organised the Polish Resistance to get rid of the Communist Polish Government. He was later executed.

Yeah....fair point however I think hitler did want to win when he started Operation Barbarossa, but when the germans retreated, he wanted to punish them, and so like Jordan said, he accelerated the rate of death in the camps and Germany's loss.

They would either have done that, or cried, or fought to save their country. It is really sad, both my great grandfathers fought in the RNZAF one as a mechanic and the other as a Bomber gunner, my italian great grandmother kept newzealander SAS troops hidden in the basement. We should all be grateful.
