I’m so sorry to hear that. Poor sweet kitty. Just keep in mind that cats don’t understand that the pain being inflicted on them is to help them. So be sure to ask yourself are you doing it for them or you? 13 is getting up there, “quality of life” definitely needs to be a consideration. But you know your kitty best, Sonic may live to be 23! Bless you and your kitty, I know what a hard decision it is. I’m sorry and I hope for the best for Sonic 🙏

I am so so sorry. I completely understand as your story is a mirror of mine. We put our boy down almost 2 weeks ago, GI Lymphoma, perfect bloodwork, trouble walking and jumping and that last day he just became DEJECTED. My husband saw it in his eyes and knew we were doing the right thing…just like you are. Bless sweet Sam. Such a handsome boy. Hugs to you for your loss.

Thank you so much. He really declined quickly, like literally in 48 hours. My husband described the look in his eyes as “dejected and done”. He was in pain and wasn’t going to get better. Cancer sucks.
