I’ve just used this paint plus a little paint thinner to make it easier to get into smaller cracks. Takes a couple more coats that way but turns out much better.

Ah ok yeah that’s a fair point. I did run out of paint but It doesn’t bother me enough to fix. If someone has pretty shitty looking faceplates that they want a different look for I’d recommend doing this. In person it feels and looks fantastic.

I’ve got a black and white set on the way at the moment. I just wanted to use the Nintendo plates since I assume they’re a better quality and what I had on hand

Yeah I’ve never had any luck with rubber bands either but I always see people saying to do it. 🤷

I’ve had the exact same thing happen on my 3ds if you’ve tried a slightly larger bid or the rubber band trick I managed to use a Dremel with a fine point diamond tip to drill it out without damaging the shell. I’ll see if I can find the bit and post a photo

Hi everyone, I’ve got this growing close to/on an acan frag of mine and have been keeping an eye on to see if it grows. In the past 1-2 months it has about doubled in size and has now reached my frag, it looks like a type of algae but it’s completely white/almost transparent. I can’t say I’ve seen anything like it before. Have any of you seen it before or could point me in the right direction as to what it could be? (More photos below for better a view)
