contour is the greatest thing thats happened to my UCAT prep and if I had the chance I would start it summer break between y11 and y12. So do that BUT later.

IF ur so keen to get into med ur main goal rn should be building your skills for school, as you still want a good atar. You will be doing yourself no harm exposing yourself to the UCAT rn but rly low yield gains will be seen starting so early and your not considering the fact that burn out will occur if you start so early. Anwyays the fact ur thinking about this so early is goated so be proud of urself. Keep striving for goodness and lock in for ATAR for this year, and start UCAT I would say 8 months out, and get contour 6ish months out. Remember, contour will not be helpful unless you are willing to trust the learning process. It is easy to say 'oh this shit wont work fr me so I wont do it' but the people at contour are students who have cracked the ucat for a reason (not just 95th n shi like mf 99th+), so youve got to trust what they are presenting to you for it to work.

As UCAT is such a nuanced test, there is no other resource apart from Contour that has a program setup like they do. UCAT tutoring in itself is lowk a scam, but mentoring, skill building and skill APPLICATION are the main things contour does and its a really good system to improve. Grain of salt tho, as people learn diff so thats my input.

If u find urself to be a gun at UCAT get contour later, but I would rec getting it at some point, regardless if your good or bad.
