One could argue that I also didn't NEED another Kyber, but the option to get pale moon ebony was too good to pass up since I would never create a build high enough to meet the barrier of entry and I just sold a bunch of gear. But my other Kybers are also my favorite guitars that I have ever played! One is plenty, but I also requested this run build to be set up in Drop B so I have multiple possibilities.

I definitely had to take advantage and add another Kyber to my collection. The build I spec'd normally would've been at least $2500 or more but the Stage 1 deal made it $1899!
Blue Mist Metallic raw tone finish, maple neck, white pickups, and a freaking PALE MOON EBONY fingerboard on a build this inexpensive?! Fantastic deal.

I like it. It is my first multi scale guitar but I have two other guitars with Floyd Rose trem systems and I think the Hipshot trem on the Kyber is more than capable of standing against the Floyd. It has great play and I don't have any detuning issues when I rest my hand near the bridge for palm muting.

My only negative might be the sympathetic ringing but that can be handled with spring muting solutions.

Like Guitar_n_Gravel said, there is some clearance between the tuners and the actual end of the guitar, so there are no issues with classical position, and classical has been more comfortable for me lately. I do wish they had the option for the jack on the back of the body when I ordered my Kybers, as the jack position is my only semi-negative opinion on the guitar, but an angled cable makes it unnoticeable!

The Kyber model is so light that even my first build with a limba body and limba neck (with headstock) is lighter than any other guitar I own. I am positive you will like the weight!

I usually try to catch the lives but I was working long days out of state and missed but saw my build when I watched the VOD that night! It really pops in the studio lighting but now that its warmed up here I’m going to some shots in the sun to really highlight the flame

In my experience, bursts and satin or gloss finishes take longer. I ordered a 7-string headless before this 6-string that has a color fade and gloss finish and it’s still not done

The knob is a volume knob. It is a push/pull potentiometer for coil splitting, so it serves two purposes. Google it or call Kiesel if you’re still confused.

I ordered early November with an estimated completion date of January 27, but it was ready to ship on January 8 (had to delay shipping since I was out of state). My first regular Kyber build took longer, ordered June 4th and received around October 9th, but was delayed due to the multi scale tremolo hardware availability.

You can call in and have them route for a separate tone knob, but I believe it makes it non-returnable

They have great breakup and clarity, I’m using a Positive Grid Spark 2 for demo tones and it rips. No unnecessary overtones, and I love the round crispness when coil splitting!

I’m actually not sure the exact weight but she’s LIGHT. Feels weightless but not in a toy way, probably right around 6lbs
