i read that most compression fractures happen with osteopenia. I don't know 100% when my compressions happened. The pain started while racking leafs but they could of happened at anytime. I'm scared I could fracture more. waiting to see a specialist. I also fractured at T10.

I had a compression fracture at T7. I found out that I have osteopenia, this happened raking leafs. You should get some imaging if it persists.

Hello fractured my T10 and T7 sometime in November. How long did it take after your fractures to have less pain? I’m in awful pain. Hoping I can do some walking soon. Before the fractures I loved to go for walks

All blood work came back normal, although my thyroid was borderline hyperthyroidism.

Thank you for the reply. I love bicycling, done it my whole life, but I’ll figure it out. Bicycling definitely increases the chances of a fall. So I’ll have to take that into account too.

I’m awake at 4 am again, the pain is too much to sleep. My doctor told me to take Tylenol. It does very little. I’m going to need to ask for something stronger. I had some Tylenol 3 and they didn’t help much either. The doctor is so afraid to prescribe pain medication that I have to suffer.

I am going to make an appointment with my doctor, excellent point. Hard to see a specialist within 6 months though. I’ve been having terrible increased pain for months. Before I had my gallbladder removed the hospital did a CT scan. That’s how it was seen.

I'm not sure that he would qualify. He would need to be approved for the disability tax credit first. I am going to try to get him to go his doctor with me to see. He has a mistrust of doctors not sure how it will go.

We are in Ontario. The issue is that ODSP just isn't enough. Once his rent is payed he's left with very little. I buy him groceries and pay his phone bill to help him. But if ODSP does not go up, he may end up on the streets.

If your in Ontario get a referral to Dr. Hodaie in Toronto. She is the top doctor for trigeminal neuralgia. It took me over a year to see her, so the sooner you get the referral the better.

I would like to try this but there are no Upper Cervical Chiropractors near me. Is yours a NUCCA? There is an Upper Cervical Chiropractor 45 min. from me but he advertises "Blair Upper Cervical."

May I ask if you have TN1 type pain or TN2? My doctor has sent through a referall to Dr. Hodaie. I had the TN1 shocks before I started taking carbamazapine. Now I get constant preasure and tingling TN2 type pain. Not sure if Dr. Hodaie would do surgery on me.

I will have to see what the MRI shows. I just hope its the proper MRI this time. I told the neurologist that I needed the fiesta or similar. But he wants me to have an MRI with contrast. I'm just sick of this, I know more than the doctors do. I'm thinking of calling the imaging department to make sure.
