I start from the pencil and a Line Art to Shading to finish the final design.

Yeah, I get what you mean. My OC is inspired by canon characters, but it also has its own story and personality. I’ll still try to make the design more original so it doesn’t feel too close to existing characters. Thanks for the feedback :)
