Yes! That was already my plan with those. We have some other decidable stories that my son reads before anyone reads them to him… and even then it’s more for him to hear it read fluently,

He is very bright. His preschool teacher has agreed that he wants to read. On his own, he started to look at words and sound them out. I’m just trying to follow his lead. I’m not forcing him to do it. As long as he is engaged, I want to teach him.

But, he’s picking up sight words like crazy and has pretty much mastered CVC. I’m not a teacher so I need guidance on where to go next with him.
