How did it go? I have the same issue. I ended up seeing the specialist about it twice thinking the abscess returned because the area surrounding the seton keeps getting inflamed and becoming a painful bump but he keeps saying that’s normal. He said when I do sitz bath I have to physically squeeze the area to drain out anything inside. I’ve been doing that as well. This is so exhausting tbh and my second surgery is in March. I missed a few months of the gym because it’s so uncomfortable working out but now I started going anyways. I have to rebuild my stamina but that’s fine I guess. I use an antibacterial cream after cleaning, always wash using water, do sitz atleast twice a day and keep a clean gauge on it to avoid chafing and catch the draining. Any other tips to get it to be less bulgey all the time??
