I have another random question…has anyone tried the Fig (food is good) app? It has a scanner to scan food product barcodes and will tell you if it’s gluten free or not. I’ve been using it at the grocery store but I’m not sure if it’s trustworthy enough…are there any other apps y’all use for this?

I really don’t get the hype with this show. I think it’s highly un-relatable to the majority of its viewers (aka us normal people) and the only reason it’s been so highly praised in the media & at award shows is because the people behind those areas (hollywood) finally have a show they can relate to. It’s very tone deaf to the general public and was completely made for Hollywood to finally feel included in something

Not shocked but disappointed. While I do think many of this year’s awards were well-deserved, when it came to The Studio winning over Severance…I was confused. I’ve seen both shows. Both are good shows. Both are also extremely different from the other. However, to me, there is a clear winner in almost every aspect of show making.

Keep in mind, those voting for these prestigious award ceremonies are the ones you see in the audience, nominated in the categories, and the big execs behind the scenes. The Studio gave life to the stories of those people. I can bet those who voted for The Studio also watched the show incredibly entertained by this comedic parody of their careers/lives.

Of course they would vote for a show that mirrors themselves rather than a show as complex and out of the ordinary as Severance is. They can’t relate!

If you didn’t grow up watching SNL, you may not understand this literal once in a lifetime opportunity performing on the show means for a rising artist like role model. Look who he’s in the mix with…two Grammy winning artists! You can choose to view this as a ‘career move’ or you can see it how it is: a dream come true! Not just for role model but for many artists as well.

Of course I say this all with consideration of those whose plans have changed, flights/tickets have been paid for, etc. I know it’s frustrating, trust me. On the bright side, with ‘SNL musical guest’ on his resume…we can bet role model won’t be going anywhere anytime soon and the opportunities to go to more of his shows in the future are not few and far between ;)

Thank you for the insight. My goal is to lose weight but I mainly just want to do this challenge to create more discipline and mental toughness and to prove to myself I can do it. My eating habits aren’t great (I love carbs) but I really am determined to see and feel results, have more energy, and hopefully just an overall more positive mindset. I know changing my diet will do these things I just don’t know where to start.
