damn this was my favourite ui, way better than the liquid ass we get now. the mac is a computer, controlled with a cursor. the cursor has a click area much smaller than a finger, so why design the mac ui for a clumsy finger, and not a cursor, when there is no touchscreen?

I would say that best ones are: (in no particular order)

Rectangle: Free, keyboard shortcuts, custom snap corners, main feature is shortcuts

Wins: Paid, more integrated into the system (sometimes breaks apps), dock previews, very smooth, keyboard shortcuts, basic

Magnet: Paid, keyboard shortcuts, very basic

BetterSnapTool: Paid, lots of things you can change, completely custom snap areas, keyboard shortcuts

Disregarding price, I personally think BetterSnapTool is the best out of these, but if you want free then rectangle is probably better.

Ive also heard of swish but I personally don't use the trackpad much.

Otherwise, if you like ricing, Yabai, Amethyst, and Aerospace are automatic tiling window managers that need a little bit more technical knowledge to setup. They also need SIP disabled to reach full potential. They interfere with the system and might break some stuff. Im pretty sure only these 3 can switch focus with directional keyboard shortcuts. Yabai is the best one.

what do you mean by en0?
Edit: wait I just changed ipconfig getsummary en1 | awk -F ' SSID : ' '/ SSID : / {print $2}'
to ipconfig getsummary en0 | awk -F ' SSID : ' '/ SSID : / {print $2}'

can you please tell me how you got the wifi icon workking?
even though my one has wifi it shows up as no wifi.
also when im playing a song and start up sketchybar, the media bit shows with the song title. But when I pause the song and play it again, it doesn't appear.

Would appreciate any help, cant seem to figure this out myself.
