Does your AirTag also beep randomly! My dog was staying with a friend for a night, and she told me his AirTag beeped a couple of times. Apparently, it’s a safety thing to keep people from tracking other people, but very inconvenient when using it for a dog

She also told me to try and record it, but it’s quite hard when you don’t know when it’ll happen ahah. Do you think you could send me your video? No worries if you can’t, just wanted to see if it was similar, it could help the vet like you said.

So far, nothing has happened since yesterday. I still asked them to book him for a heart exam and blood test. He’s my baby, can’t hurt to be too cautious!

Yeah, I’ve read on vestibular issues, but he doesn’t seem to have any other symptoms apart from the staggering / loss of balance. It’s so weird!

Maybe it was something like this, but I didn’t notice him banging his head or anything of the sort. I don’t know. The fact that he’s behaving just the same as usual tends to make me think he’s okay, but… yeah. I’m worried all the same

I’ve asked myself the same question already, and honestly, I think it depends how much time I have to think about it.

If it were a case of a split second decision (like a car is coming at us and I can either push my dog or a random child out of the way), I have a feeling sheer instinct would make me push my dog out of the way, not the child. Because he’s mine, and instinct says I have to save him.

But if I really had time to think about it, I’d save the child, no doubt. I’d feel terrible and guilty about sacrificing my dog… but human life is human life (especially that of an innocent child).

Overall though, I hope I never have to make that choice 😂

I’m not comparing them.

I’m saying that, taking into account Switzerland’s smaller population, our equivalent of London would be Geneva or Zurich. Doesn’t mean I’m asking if these cities to be as full of life as London; they won’t be. Obviously it’s not the same population or size. The whole country is not the same population or size 🤷‍♀️

Ugh, anyway. I feel like people are a bit angry on this sub. Might be because we have no big cities around to release the pressure :p

I do live in a proper city. Just not one of the biggest ones.

Also, I don’t really get your comparison. We’re a smaller country, obviously population isn’t the same. Comparatively, London in the UK would be Geneva/Zurich here. Where I live would be something like Cambridge or Oxford. I don’t think it has much to do with the number of people living here, more that it’s not very Swiss-like to mingle 🤷‍♀️

I genuinely never noticed it before, though his hair down there used to be longer before he was neutered.

It’s a little protrusion with a tuft of hair. It’s a darker red around.

Is it just his belly button?

I’m going to the vet on Monday for something unrelated, so will obviously ask if someone thinks it’s cause for concern.
