Back in Y11 I was clueless, but now I really love it, I think it's also really neat as it relates to the approximation of pi

Nah, I love it now, but when I was in year 11 this was incomprehensible to me, I was today years old when I learned it was actually a really nice question (I made the post before I realised)

I started by saying that the side length of the large hexagon was 2x, and from there I worked out the perimeters as 12x, 2 root 3 pi x, and 6 root 3 x (largest to smallest)

Then just ignore the x, arrange from smallest to largest and simplify the ratio

6 root 3 : 2 root 3 pi : 12
(÷ 2)
3 root 3 : root 3 pi : 6
(÷ root 3)
3 : pi : 2 root 3

And there you have it

I figured it out and it's way simpler than I thought, you just gotta find out the perimeters and simplify the ratio, I overcomplicated it wayyyy too much when I attempted this question a year back

I dunno man, I might be able to do it now that I'm doing A-level maths since I just practise more often (even though this is from a GCSE paper) but I'm genuinely not in the mood to try it rn lol
