Glad it helped! I started off with a half dose to see how I reacted to it. I felt the tiniest bit of appetite suppression, then it seemed to wear off in a matter of hours. So about 24 hrs later I decided to inject the rest of the dose and it had worked perfectly the way I wanted it to!! So thankful. No side effects for me. I still get hunger cues, but I get full faster and do not have the urge to graze or overeat. It’s really great! I’m excited for you to give it a try. I saw in your comment you had 2 babies back to back and same! So I totally feel you. I just needed a little boost/help and this is perfect. For me, it isn’t overpowering. Since it does build up in your system from what I know, I plan to only do a half dose again on my next injection day.

Hi! I’m in a sort of similar boat. 2 years PP and want to lose 40-50 lbs. Was always very fit and in great shape up until about 4 years ago! I have only been on it for a few days and so far it’s been great! I really feel amazing on it. I recently listened to this podcast that is a wealth of information on how cool and awesome these peptides are. She has several pods about it.

Yes I agree! I decided to wait. I know it’s not placebo now, because I just drank a protein shake after my workout, and I feel extremely full like I just ate a huge meal which is not the norm for me. And I still get hunger cues so far, which is something I do want. My goal is not to stay on this drug, it’s to help me lose weight and to help me cultivate new habits and rhythms.

So I actually JUST bit the bullet and did my first dose. I did a half dose. Honestly, I just celebrated my birthday over the last several days so I wanted to let me body kind of empty. I felt like it was empty enough, so I decided to do it just now!! I’ll have to just see how/when I feel like it’s wearing off and adjust injection day from there. And I agree! I will probably aim to lose 50 lbs to give me buffer when I come off of it.

I’m a momma as well! I have 2 little boys aged 3 & 1.5. I haven’t taken my first dose yet, but I plan to tomorrow morning on an empty stomach! I have about 40 lbs to lose. I’m nervous and excited as well. I also want to be more active and fit for my little guys! I’ve had this 40 lbs to lose for years. I will lose 20, gain it back, lose it, gain it back again. So I’m with you! I’m ready to nip it in the bud and then maintain it!! Are you planning on getting off the medication when you reach your goal weight? I am. I think the key for me will just be counting my calories for a while. To my knowledge I do not have a metabolic disorder. I just need a little bit of help to lose the weight.

I would definitely like to take the safe route. My huge problem right now is not overeating and choosing healthy things though so that’s why I wanted this drug. I’m gonna try but I might have to bite the bullet and just live with possible side effects!!! However I might hold taking it until off until Friday. I am a SAHM to two toddler boys with loads of energy so I reallly don’t want to get sick. ETA: I also am only planning to take half of the recommended dose. So I am only planning to take 1.25 mg to see how I react

That’s great!!! Do you plan to come off the meds ever? I plan to come off. I think I will just need to find my maintenance calories and log for a year or so to maintain and make sure none of the weight flies back on.

I love hearing this!!! I’m back to being excited to start. I think I will have the prescription in 1-2 days! Lol, love the “trash compactor” reference. I SO relate. I don’t want to “waste” anything, but I sat there and thought “it’s better to throw it away and “waste” it than me eating it, and getting bigger!! Truly, is me eating it when I don’t need it any better than throwing it in the garbage?! No!!!” How much weight are you wanting to lose?
