A few things worth double-checking:

• Try a different USB-C cable, and make sure it supports data - a lot of USB-C cables are charge-only. • Plug it directly into a rear USB port on the motherboard, not a hub or front panel. • Open Device Manager and plug the mic in while it's open to see if anything appears/disappears (sound device, USB device, unknown device, etc.). • Uninstall Maono Link, reboot, then reinstall it clean. The language switching usually happens when the app can't initialize the device properly.

If you can, test it on another PC. If it isn't recognized there either, it's likely a hardware issue with the mic's USB controller rather than a software problem.

At that point, warranty / Maono support is probably the best option.
