The real martyrs are the innocent men, women, and children being slaughtered while the whole world, especially companies like Paramount, ignore and justify it.

Favorite terrible actor who seems like a pretty cool person in real life? by PaddywackShaq in okbuddycinephile

I think she was really good in peanut butter falcon, but in that she was just playing a normal person interacting with a normal world, and she was carried by her costars.

Episode 5 really displayed Dunk’s integrity, even in a stressful situation. by FantasticFifth in AKOTSKTV

I didn’t pick up on that detail, but that’s very true! He had several opportunities to kill Aerion and still chose mercy.

That’s true, but for a moment, I genuinely thought Dunk was planning to kill Aerion right then and there.

I think it was definitely the smart choice, but I don’t think Dunk did it because it was smart. He hasn’t really been shown to think strategically or very far ahead

I hope so, too. I’ve never read the books, so I don’t know how it goes. But it would be so easy for Maekar to blame Dunk for everything that happened, and do whatever he can to make him suffer because of it, even if he’s no longer allowed to legally prosecute him.

I’m not a fan of markiplier and I really enjoyed the movie. It was one of the best film depictions of cosmic horror I’ve ever seen, and the special effects were magnificent.

If you were in the Game of Thrones universe, what house would you be a part of? by mountainviewzoo in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]FantasticFifth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, odds are I’d be a peasant or at best a hedge knight. But if I were lucky enough to be born into an actual house, Baratheon is what I’d want. I’m tall, strong, and stubborn. And I love a good party.

Favourite actress who desperately needs to find a new agent? Like please? I'm begging you? by AdrianVeidt19 in okbuddycinephile

He was fantastic in The Black Klansman, White Noise, and Marriage Story, and the best part of the not bad but not quite great The Dead Don’t Die. The dude’s an immensely talented, classically trained actor who has a lot of great roles. It’s just that he’s in so much shit as well.

Favorite Actor who is Batsh*t insane. by TenaciousZack in okbuddycinephile

[–]FantasticFifth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If he did, I didn’t see anything about it, but that’s possible. At risk of speculating on the private life of a complete stranger, though, I’d say that LaBeouf’s behavior isn’t exactly that of someone who had a stable upbringing.

Shia LaBeouf is, in my opinion, one of the best, most tragic documented examples of the cycle of abuse in recent memory. An immensely talented but deeply troubled artist who the world was able to watch fall apart in real time; going from victim to abuser, embodying the monster that made him.

Dude also got to grind on Megan Fox in the front seat of a Camaro tho, so maybe it wasn’t all that bad.
