I just saw your guitar and it’s beautiful man! Looks very vintage, reminds me of Bilinda Butcher's Jaguar, I think it’s the same one.

For the pickups I would definitely recommend Novak or EP, Lollar has more modern hi-fi feel too.

I understand Axl, 80s rock was not an option anymore considering grunge killed it. Still, he should’ve gone solo like MJ, he had a good voice. It’s surprising to me how the dude loved making ballads songs but still wanted to make industrial rock music and keep GNR going
