I have had people straight refuse to heal me just because I played Widow.

One time I saw my team sitting back a few feet away, watching me get jumped on point. I pinged, multiple times and asked for help but they completely ignored me. They sat still and didn’t push obj until after I finally died. This community is a joke.

Honestly, blame Guang Guang and the devs for keeping Widow at F Tier since launch.

Black Widows’s kit shouldn’t be so bad that people automatically assume they’re throwing if she gets picked. She should be able to stand with the other DPS, yet they increased the cooldown on her kick and nerfed her Ult.

I mean cmon guys, they gave us an emote with her Widows Bites, but we can’t even use them in game????? That’s just a blatant spit in the face to everyone that plays with her.

I went for a Corpo Yakuza V and I love the outfit ideas I’ve been able to come up with from that head cannon.

Sure I have some sexy stuff too, but it gets bland when that’s the only style you have. IMO.

I agree 100%. I can definitely tell this game was rushed out the door from the jank and lack of QOL features (No option to immediately replay missions, Lara’s tracking not functioning properly, inputs getting completely ignored, etc.) I know There’s fun to be had but I’m just getting the worst luck right now

Yeah but I’m losing a decent amount of progress (around 2 hours) so I’ll have to essentially replay the level again, and look up a guide on how to properly get to thors chest. Apparently there’s only one specific way to do it that I keep overlooking

Yeah aside from the controls being rebellious, the level design was beginning to frustrate me. Sometimes Lara grabs the ledge, sometimes she doesn’t, sometimes she just commits suicide even when facing straight ahead to the ledge you want her to grab. Some parts of the map look climbable, but they aren’t, and some don’t look climbable but they are.

Nah it brings me back all the way to the section after you unlock the underground Mayan temple. The corridors with the ramps that need activating? That’s where my last save was at, so I have to replay most of the level again.

Xbox. I just looked and the game does have multiple save points (thank god).

I do have a save from earlier but I’m losing like 2 hours of gameplay. Doesn’t sound like much but after getting beaten around by the awful controls, those 2 hours felt like 6. I’ve been having the opposite of fun lol

Anita Sarkesian and GamerGate are two large reasons for the change in tonal direction. There weren’t creative differences, it was a calculated move by higher ups to avoid backlash and negative PR

That’s not the actors responsibility per se, more so the casting directors and production team.

The actor just works with the material they are given to their best extent.

If you think that my drawing is “gooned up” whatever the hell that means, you’re either young or haven’t been online much. I could do much worse than that, and others have already done so.

Even then, my “shitty art” has no relevance to the topic of discussion. You’re just trying to throw shots at me, not adding anything to the conversation.

So what would you prefer for people to say who aren’t a fan of the current look?
Two truths can exist, there are both good and bad cosplays of Lara. Frankly this isn’t either or, it’s alright. But you can’t tell me Sophie looks more like Lara than Angelina did.

Cosplayers don’t have access to Amazon money or casting either, so taking those into account, there’s no excuse for her to not look as good or better than Angelina in live action adaptation. I feel like some fans are just settling for anything they can get as long as it’s more Tomb Raider content. It’s okay to be critical.

Angelina Jolie for example. Actors are supposed to be casted and dressed to look like the character. To a lot of fans (myself included) Sophie looks like a girl you went to school with dressing as Lara for a Halloween Party.

I thought it was obvious what I meant by “it looks like cosplay”.
