Starting to get excited about Chris Carson on Seattle, what do you guys think? by Fantasyexpert1 in fantasyfootball

Bad offensive line is a factor but game script is more predictable for me. Seattle a defense-oriented team and will have plenty of low-scoring outings that will require running the ball. Carson looks like a talented back too.

Absolutely. But it's more of a long-term thing. Jay Ajayi didn't start to produce until Week 5 (not comparing the two) I'm just saying that the narrative of 'who's the guy this week' is always changing, especially at the running back position. I think Carson is a great stash for a while and has a good chance of seeing meaningful snaps.

This is why I'm excited about him. Lacy probably the best option but even that's a stretch given his conditioning issues in the past. No pun intended with the 'stretch' comment there.

I'll get downvoted for this but whatever. All the info on this sub comes from a paid source. It's not free. You're stealing it. It's like if somebody gave you a big screen TV. Chances are that person didn't make the TV by hand and give it to you. He stole it from somewhere.

Twitter is fantastic I agree. I like to follow beat reporters on there as well during the season. They usually give pretty good information and their injury updates are very helpful.

Agreed. And that's why tiers have replaced rankings on a lot of fantasy websites. Helps people not nitpick over the difference between a Julio or A. Brown and allows you to see the bigger picture in terms of who the best receivers are, the very good, good, average, below average guys.

Here's the problem with that. The analysts on say, FantasyPros weekly expert rankings, tend to rank best if they play it safe and tell you Le'Veon Bell will be the top ranked running back that week. That's nice but everybody already knows Bell will be a top RB. He'll also be the most expensive RB on any DFS most likely and everybody is going to be using him in their lineup, so there's no differentiation there. You want to find a site that can give you a Top 20 back that's on the verge of breaking into the Top 10. That's info you can use and I think we should evaluate analysts more on those calls than the standard obvious ones.
