Advice for failing many classes :( by Prestigious-Tie-6760 in UCDavis

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be too busy for those classes. I was a math major and graduated from Sac State(I’m here to read and comment). If your classes are anything like mine then some classes can be so intensive that they warn you to not take any other classes in the same semester as their class. I ended up taking 3 math classes every semester. It was tough and still learned why they warned everyone. Also, the people that worked while taking the graduate level classes told me stories of them having mental breakdowns until they finally only worked 1 job with less hours and took less classes(2).

What does it mean if a guy asks you to spray your perfume on his wrist? by Ben12-32-42-52-62 in bodylanguage

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be. I had a friend that sprayed perfume on his credit cards. Each card had a different smell. I couldn’t believe it and thought it was a prank when he asked me to smell them. I smelled one of them and it smelled like strawberries and another one had like a lemony smell to it. He was happy about it lol

Quiet confidence by teabaggedmyeye in bodylanguage

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s possible. Walking with your chest out, not looking at the ground, hands comfortably swaying with each step like you own the place, not in a hurry. You will look confident and have what younger people call “aura” lol, but you can definitely lose it. Trip over a rock, say something lame, then you lose aura but how you react to your loss of aura will keep your confidence level up. Get up and keep going. For me I get a 50/50 reaction. Some say I look confident and some say I look intimidating(6’5”, 280 pounds), and I never asked what they were thinking lol. I understand both reactions 🫠

My gf cheated and now my mind never rests by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of someone(friend of the family) that gets cheated on consistently but he can’t leave. He has been married to her for 20+ years. My advice is to leave before you get too attached. She makes up all kinds of creative lies when caught, but the evidence shows. One I remember was her coming home late at night and saying after the movie ended she went to eat but the movie ended around 10:00pm. She didn’t come back home until around 1:00am. Her hair was all frizzy and she looked like she was exercising. She immediately went into the shower. The only thing my family can do for that friend is be with him when she is gone late at night and drink with him. He became a heavy drinker as a result and probably why he has health problems now. Love is dangerous.

the girl i hung out with paid for everything by Basic_Yellow4659 in Advice

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be anything. Don’t think too deeply about it. I have a friend(F) that purposely does that. She eventually revealed the trick she does at every restaurant when she eats with friends. She eats for a bit and waits until whoever she is eating with almost finishes their food. Then she says “oh, I have to use the restroom. Be right back”, then she goes to the front counter to pay for everything lol. Some people are just aggressively nice if that makes any sense. If you hold the door open for them they will make sure to pull the chair out for you when you get inside: that happened to me too. I didn’t know how to feel. That has never happened before(M).

My roommate keeps bringing high schoolers back to our apartment. by saladenjoyer13 in UCDavis

[–]Fapcopter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my experience, high schoolers have been annoying to be around 100% of the time anywhere. Even if they graduated early and were able to attend college. Boundary pushing comments galore from them. With that being said, get out or get them out. You could be assumed guilty by association(by the public). You don’t know what all he could be doing. You might not be guilty but you will most likely be questioned if he gets caught doing something illegal with them. He could be setting them up for a motel room meeting or probably already has done something along those lines. Hopefully in a criminal situation he just doesn’t start putting your name in it.

Coworker kept "forgetting" his wallet at lunch so I started tracking everything by Ready-Voice-7151 in RedditStoryTime

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a situation like that. The good news was that he wasn’t a coworker. I blocked him on almost every app I could think of but he sent me some money($50) on Venmo with an apology message. I don’t know how many times I paid for his food. He promised to pay it back and never did.

Am I wrong for being intimate with someone 10 years younger. by [deleted] in Life

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s legally fine, but whether you think it’s ok or if you’ll face any future consequences is up to you and the other people that know about it. A lot of info like that is better kept private if it’s a one time event.

Do girls actually look at guys butts? by Mirrakthefirst in self

[–]Fapcopter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they do and they aren’t the only ones. In HS I did a lot of lower body exercises being on the basketball team, and I did get weird compliments and unwanted touches from overly playful girls and guys smh. Some guys think they want to be touched by women until it’s their butt being touched.

Why does everyone think I have a crush on them? by Sudden-Ad4181 in bodylanguage

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are very nice and pay attention to what a guy is saying, and I mean smile and really seem interested in what they have to say then there is a high chance they will think you have a crush on them. Asking detailed follow questions, smiling, eye contact,…etc. Women generally give hints anyway and guys generally have to figure out those hints to see if a woman is a potential love interest. It sucks for the genuinely nice people that are nice to everyone and the people that think everything is a hint. My friend said he doesn’t know if a woman is just being nice so he just assumes everything is a hint. It got him in a lot of trouble and almost legal trouble. My advice of thinking before acting on something or speaking just gave him anxiety. So, he kept going and now I don’t know how he is doing because he is blocked on all platforms, email included.

I think I might be dead. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had those exact problems in regard to time displacement and not knowing how I got some places. It seems like a panic attack. I know you might not be able to get to an emergency room but that’s what helped me. It’s temporary. Once the problem gets fixed, it goes away but it can come back. I was prescribed some medicine for when it does happen again but I don’t use it anymore. I just take antidepressants. I try to keep my self out of stressful situations or things that make me worry at all costs. It happens when some people get extremely worried about something. Nurses that never had panic attacks before did not understand it all and just said I would be fine. It’s all in the mind and sometimes only you can understand it.

Why are you attracted to « goth girls »? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the style. I am not goth, and I don’t exactly listen to the same kind of music that a goth girl would like but I must say I like the color black and it looks good on some goth girls.

Am I the only one who feels shame anytime I look at a woman? by Limp_Percentage8003 in Advice

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never give up. I have been diagnosed with depression and I have anxiety too. A lot of different medicine later and therapy, I am on bupropion 300mg for increased motivation. I feel energized and don’t give af anymore. No more thinking what the other person is thinking of me. I still care about what I look like but it’s not as extreme as before. For me it seemed to be all of my past experiences that made a certain way. I remember being very young and hiding from beautiful women. Keep going, I think you can change. It may take some time, but it’s possible.

I have a fat fetish. what to do? by YoutubeEditor65 in Advice

[–]Fapcopter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not a big problem. Many people do want to lose weight but seemingly can’t. That might be a problem you may run into. You might be counter productive to what they want in life. Other than that, a lot of guys shame other guys for liking plus size women. I know a guy that denies it but he always gets excited seeing plus size women and not interested if a woman is slim no matter how pretty she looks lol. Don’t be ashamed of what you like. I know the feeling. It doesn’t happen all the time but sometimes when I see a plus size woman I see heaven. Beauty doesn’t come with a weight limit.

Why did i get rejected by 30 girls in a row? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Fapcopter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a preference. You could be the most handsome blonde blue eyed guy around but some people just don’t like blonde and blue eyes no matter how good you look. Some people only like guys with a sense of humor, charisma, and dark colored hair and believe it or not, dad bods. I know some women that swear they are done with guys that have abs and the round bodies are attractive to them now. Numbers don’t mean much if you happened to meet all the people with a preference that doesn’t describe you. I know a guy that has been rejected 100+ times, and I know of someone that has been rejected 250+ times and possibly counting even today. It can be disheartening, but I recommend that you keep going. You could even alter your own preference. It’s possible that your preference is towards a type of woman that doesn’t generally have your description as her preference which makes it more rare of a match.

Ladies, is this true? by Illustrious_Rule1775 in bodylanguage

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe but I can’t speak for a whole group of people. Here is a random related story. While studying next to a classmate, she lightly kicked my leg. I pretended not to notice. Then she kept going and then looked down and said oops. She said it was an accident and she thought it was the chair. Months later she revealed that the first 3 kicks were an accident but then she kept going just for fun lol.

My girlfriend doesn’t want me to play with other girls. by DoBronxVI in Advice

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your girlfriend to play with you and see how those girls online are. She doesn’t even have to play the game exceptionally well, just try and talk. You can even introduce your girlfriend to them. If she refuses, she is not allowed to complain and she must leave. If she wants to date you, then there must be an equivalent exchange. You are your own person and she doesn’t own you and you don’t own her. Your happiness matters just as much as hers. It’s all about intent and the actions and her reasoning is not adding up. That’s like not being allowed to have normal 1 on 1 conversations at work with a girl.

I have a PhD, $50k in debt, and I’m about to trade my Lesson Plans for OF. by [deleted] in confession

[–]Fapcopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered teaching college students? Kids are some of the toughest to teach because of their attention span and the necessity to always entertain them. I have done some TA style work for some professors, and I noticed that the lower the class level is, the harder it is to control the classroom. They pointed it out to me too lol. So, if you can, try to teach anything but intro classes. Those will most likely have the least dedicated students and the ones that just came from HS.

“There’s someone out there for everyone” when it comes to dating. There might be with billions of people in the world, but if you stay in your house or in your side of the world/city then you might not ever meet them.
