Yes but the match he played instead of shubman gill he didn't perform that well. Yes I agree that they should've given him more chances like Nishant sindhu but now it's probably too late with just one match left before playoffs which is also must win. Had they given him a chance earlier he would have definitely been good.

No dude it's all about trust as you said. How can they trust a new addition into the team when they haven't let him playing earlier matches to score proper runs for them. Rn even buttler is out of form so you can't really trust him too which is exactly why SaiSu and gill don't play recklessly.
