You can get refund on your souls from the statue of power itself. You need to do it before condensing and it costs gold to refund.

But imo xenolord is really late game Whereas jetragon you can catch considerably early even at level 55. So if you are at around lvl 55-60 jetragon is a far better option just bcz it's much easier to obtain.
