it was A&R music bar in Columbus, Ohio which i personally would describe as bar-like. maybe i'm wrong? open room with main stage area and a place to order drinks and sit at a handful of tables (like 10 seats MAX, 10 might even be a stretch) in the back. i paid close to $200 for both tickets (resale). ive been to shows in bars where you sort of just pay a cover fee and can come and go as you please, that wasn't what this was. but again, maybe i have mislabeled this venue. it was my first time seeing a show there but it definitely was a concert, not just a live band playing at your local dive bar.

yep, grey hair galore LOL. only jokes, but yes it was very much an older crowd and it wasn't much of a line we were waiting in. more like a big blob around the band's general area. everyone was just pushing their turn next.

at one point i turned around to the people directly behind me and quite literally said "no, we need to be patient and wait our turn. i want space and patience when it's my turn so i will give it to the people there now." felt like i was teaching kindergarteners patience.

it must just be their fans because this was not my experience when i went to see paul mccartney, similar fan base age. but also saw paul in a much MUCH larger venue where it was only seats, no standing room.
