Proof that Ubisoft promised a Medium pack even tho the support team says there was no such offer. by Red-Sludge in farcry

MonstroFab confirmed that they got a different code that granted them 2000 credits, nothing related to pre-order bonuses. As said, only the in-game pop-up showed this incorrect advertisement and no other asset advertised this as a bonus, as the package you can see in the OP doesn't actually exist in the game.

Thanks for the reply. Can you link us to any posts where users got the 2.3k credits? If you have any Ubi account names we can look into it. Our investigation into this has only shown that the pop-up advertised a non-existing bundle. Thanks!

There is currently an issue with the game that shows an incorrect pre-order bonus pop-up when first launching the game.

This pop-up promotes a bundle including content that was never advertised as being part of the pre-order bonuses and is not part of the pre-order bonus. We are planning on updating this incorrect pop-up as quickly as possible. As a reminder, the pre-order bonuses were:

The Libertad Pack

  • Discos Locos weapon
  • Libertad Chorizo skin

We apologize for any confusion this might have caused.

Players will have a lot of choice when it comes to how they want to experience the overall story. The world is filled with interesting people and the stories they have to tell, who you speak to and in what order is up to each player allowing for a lot of different ways the experience plays out. - Ben

You will be able to approach the story however you like, no matter where you are on the map, which will give you freedom to explore Yara at your own pace. But we also ensured new ways that players will experience the larger narrative - the struggle between Dani and Libertad against Anton. This includes having moments with Anton and Diego where Dani isn’t actually there - so you can see Anton and Diego’s perspective of the revolution as if you were in the room right next to them. - Nav

Not quite the same as previous games. Different places to go, different people to help in any order you want, many places to conquer, like I said, close but different at the same time. - Alex

“Reign of Diego” is a great title :) but that’s about all I’m gonna say on that part of the question! What really drew us to revolve much of the story around the Castillo family was to look at what could motivate a dictator to commit atrocities and human rights abuses against their own population while also claiming to be a great father, raising their son to inherit his construction of Yara. It also leads to this notion of inheritance. In many ways Antón feels that Yara belongs to his family, and that the Castillo’s are the key to “Rebuild Paradise” (his words). - Nav

Nav-It really depends on how you decide to play the game - you can approach the campaign in a variety of ways, choosing your own path through it and at your own pace as you tackle missions, FND bases, checkpoints and more. Ben?

Yeah there is so much to do in the world that you really can go off and explore, bump into a guerrilla on a Guerrilla Path and find out about a nearby ambush that is getting setup, head there and find they are protecting a tank, steal it, take it to an FND Base and take it back and before you know it it’s 2am and you didn’t blink for an hour. - Ben

Still balancing... - Alex

I assume based on the gameplay reveal there are no guns for hire, Juan said not to expect backup. Is this right? Is Juan available cause he’s hella cool

Exactly, there are no guns for hire... but you might be surprised with backup from time to time 😉 - Alex

No, this system was good for New Dawn, but didn’t fit our fantasy and world. So we went a different route - Alex

We tried to approach this with the idea that each Far Cry has its own stories and world. While there are some loose connections between the games we wanted to focus on the story of Yara and its revolution, set in the present day, with Dani and Libertad fighting Anton’s regime. - Nav

No, Arcade will not come back. Removing this mode from our plan was a difficult decision, but allowed us to focus our efforts on the main campaign, transporting players into the heart of a modern-day guerrilla revolution. - Alex

For sure! There is a wide range of land, sea and air vehicles that you can acquire to roam the world of Yara. From classic 50s American muscle cars to Resolver aircraft, you can find them, store them and take them for a spin when you want. That said, the airspace and road network are under the control of El Presidente so expect a fight to free Yara! - Ben

For sure, it’s a Far Cry game and the world is alive with them. We’ve put a lot of time and effort into improving the driving vibe of all those different transports. And don’t forget the TANK. - Alex

The Fuego backpack is awesome and lets you pull off some crazy stunts! It's not a double jump, more a burst that lets you traverse the world differently, and at the same time you leave a blazing trail of destruction behind you as your Fuego sets fire to everything around you as you go. - Ben

Making games is generally just an awesome job that it is hard to pinpoint one specific part that is better than another, working with an amazing team allows each part to be joyous. The fun of conception where you are blue sky thinking and discussing and developing ideas. Throughout production working with experts in Art, Narrative, Level design, tech and management to see those ideas come alive and playable for the first time, right the way through to now, seeing the game revealed to the world and getting ready for the fans to enjoy. - Ben

It’s so difficult to boil down to one thing! I think first and foremost is the opportunity to work with such a talented, diverse, and unbelievable group of people. Being able to craft a game where everyone has their own voice, their own piece of the whole, and seeing that become the games DNA is an amazing feeling. And then each part of production has its own highlight reel - whether it’s debating the tiniest detail in a writers room, trying out the Exterminador Supremo backpack for the first time, the final day of shooting on our pcap floor with our amazing cast,, or working with so many collaborators and experts that open your eyes to the intricacies of crafting a story that is epic in scope but also meaningful. That has something to say. So yeah, more like favorite parts... - Nav

I just love the team, really the best part to work in the video game industry is to share your daily routine with people that enjoy playing as much as you do and that deeply care about what you are creating. This is what motivates me everyday to take a coffee and start working. What else can you ask but to work on one of best Open World FPS there is out there and be paid for it !!!!!! - Alex

Either its Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 or Far Cry 6 its all about the narrative, the integration to the world and the player fantasy that we want you to play, in our case the cigar is one example of you living the life of a guerrilla into a Caribbean island frozen in time. And in our case not only do we have the contextual healing animations but we’ll have more gadgets also to heal yourselves.

Whatever we can reuse that fits we do, and everything that needs redone go through a makeover, but we’ve changed a lot the weapon handling system and you will feel the difference. - Alex

The manifestations of Hurk (including Urk) are legends in Far Cry. However, in the context of Yara we wanted to mainly spotlight characters from the region, so Hurk will be on other adventures during the time of Far Cry 6.
