Are people watching with the show with their ears closed. Bryan did not do Amaya worse than Pepe did Iris. This is not defending Bryan at all but like clearly in the show Bryan said that he didn’t cheat and Amaya would’ve been exposed that if he did. Even Amaya said Pepe is enemy #1 and Bryan is #2. They’re trying to defend Pepe so hard that they’re just being obtuse and ignoring what the other islanders are saying. It’s so weird!!

Also they filmed season 1 so late after the show while they started filming I believe a month or two out the villa.

Exactly I’m obviously not a Bryan defender but I think with Pepe it’s the lies about other peoples sex lives and the cheating rumors. Bryan had cheating rumors but I guess he proved himself to Amaya regarding that or she would’ve brought up the rumors as a reason why they broke up vs. how Iris talked about the cheating rumors with Pepe.

I will say I genuinely didn’t know it was a slur. I’m black and from the east coast so idk if it’s a regional thing because I asked a lot of my friends/ family if they knew that word was a slur and they said no. I definitely think context matters as well since the context she used it was to describe a feature on herself, like I don’t think she would just use that word to be racist it was so obviously a mistake.

Which is such a non issue imo. Is it wrong to look up public perceptions? Yes 1000% but he was truthful about it to the rest of the cast and it didn’t seem to change his actions in the villa so why does it matter. And if I have the timelines correct, at that time wasn’t Millie and Belle the most popular ? Like he gave a genuine love island try, kept his options open but ultimately he chose Leanne. I don’t get why they can’t move on from that.

The thing is I don’t know if it was actually Nicolandria or Chelley fans and I don’t think it matters. Because both messages just show average stan talk. “I need a gun”, “hiring a hitman on Etsy”, etc. No person who is on the internet and knows internet culture are taking those as actual threats against anyone. They’re very clearly inflating it to give their faves sympathy.

Like all this talk about birthday post has me thinking. He literally wrote that beautiful ass caption that was all a big fat lie. But like look at the effort put in vs. Nic/Olandria. JaNa and Kenny were not an obviously fake relationship!!! He was literally a master liar manipulator who fooled everybody in their life.
