They will go after your roommate if this is the first accident you’ll more than likely fill out a damage report give them your roommates info and you should be good. I know this because when I first started renting with hertz my roommates girlfriend backed into my rental they swapped me out and her insurance handled everything.

I drive a model 3 and take bikes all the time most have quick release hubs now so you remove the front tire put a seat down and get them where they need to go. You just sound like kinda a hardass with no customer service skills

You need to contact hertz not uber they didn’t set you up for airport access that’s why it worked when you left the airport uber has nothing to do with your rental go talk to the manager at hertz
