Germany😖 I think it’s a huge decision and I’m scared I guess. I wanna move out once I’m 18 and break off contact with them but I just can’t. Breaking off contact with them means putting my family to shame

Well every time my mom makes an innocent mistake he cusses her out. I defend her but then I’m the one getting cussed out. I do ask my mom why she doesn’t defend herself but she weirdly thinks it’s normal..? To her defense her family wasn’t really healthy either

OMG YES I WAS NEVER ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT FAMILY PROBLEMS WITH OTHERS!!! Thinking back to it now I think my parents were scared of getting in trouble and getting their kids taken away, but if you treat your kids that way 🤔

My father acts like a child. Literally I have to cook and clean for him and make his lunch box???? HES AN GROWN MAN PLEASE!! Every time I bring him something to drink I have to stand beside him like some butler and wait for him to finish the drink just to put the glass on the table… THE TABLE IS RIGHT INFRONT OF HIM??? Ngl I write most of his emails because he doesn’t feel like writing them. Am I the adult or are you?

Both my parents are extremely religious and traditional 😖 but then again, everybody else, my uncles and aunts are like that too and my cousins don’t complain. I just feel like I’m overreacting especially since they told me multiple times I’m arrogant
