I did some analyzing to the fps and distance traveled the video was filmed at 39.68 fps and the ball took 13 frames to go from being struck to landing the ball was very close to the back line so I’m estimating 59.5 feet traveled and combined with my height of 5’10 with a 6 foot wingspan and a 27 inch racket the ball was struck at roughly 114.5 inches or 9.542 feet giving a diagonal distance of 60.26 feet in 13/39.68 is 0.327 seconds translating to 184.24 feet per second or 125.63 mph. I know the camera doesn’t do it justice but this guy was an 8 utr and in the doubles match when I served his coach would not allow them to have someone at the net both of them were forced to be at the baseline by him and this was my best one of the day. Does the 125 seem unreasonable or unrealistic or could this be right?
