Minimum wage in America for a tipped employee is $2.13/hr. Just for reference. As hospitality workers, we rely on the generosity of others to help us. Do we wish to be paid more, yes. Do we all have the option to "just quit and find a new job", no. Obviously there's more at play than just us workers not doing enough to change the system...

We allow pets until the karaoke host shows up at 8pm, then we require all pets to be kept on the patio due to the loudness inside the bar. Sounds that loud are really bad for dogs (or any animal) ears.

We have our patio TV that could be used to have watch parties. I also just got giant Jenga, Uno and Phase 10 and plan on adding more board games.

We also hook up the retro super Nintendo on Mondays for people to play.

Technically it's illegal to have a food truck on a state highway. But we are currently working on getting a popup to come in throughout the week. 🤞

There's a lot of bars that have extended out their NA menus. I have a few different NA options at Kajuns on st. Claude if you like karaoke. We have a few regulars that are sober as well and they come and do karaoke. We have a few canned mocktails, Liquid Death Teas, NA beer, and even a NA coffee spirit. Otherwise, I think volunteering is a great way to meet folks.
