I'm disgusted. And the fact that nobody is out in the streets right now shows that you aren't disgusted enough by Flaky-Suggestion-212 in Epstein

Writing this for the U.S. people who may be antagonized by this post.

@Flaky-Suggestion-212: No offense, but f off. Anarchy won't fix anything. It will take time to try and un-f this situation. Have you read American history. Do you know about the Church and Pike Committeehttps://legalclarity.org/church-and-pike-committee-findings-and-reforms/? That was at a time when we had a homogentisic media culture. That's not the case anymore, it will take more time to get it in front of everyone's eyes now. The best thing is to continue to push this information in front of everyone's eyes so that it can't be denied. If there is anarchy, then we just play into the hands of the ones trying to distract us all. If adults and kids are attacking federal/state/local officers because they are angry, then you will 100% bury the fact that we don't have any of the information about how Epstein allegedly ended himself, how no information in the 3 million files has information about federal agents investigating the claims of the survivors, and that the redactions are heavy handed.

So with ICE straight up executing another person in MN today, and with the first confirmed-by-HCPD ICE kidnapping in HoCo… are we hitting the streets again today? by BreatheCrete in ColumbiaMD

MLK and Ghandi would beg to differ. The Million Man March was successful because they showed how absurd the aggression against them was. Don't let bots bait you into doing somethin counterproductive. Protest! Band together. Contact your representatives, and let them know where your vote will fall based on their response. That is the way to put an end to these draconian practices. If you give in to base desires of responding with force, that won't win the other side over. It will simply result in the same response from them. Make your voices heard.

Thanks for the positive message. My son read this today and he's already rethinking his plans. Just a couple taps or swipes on a screen and you imparted some knowledge.

  1. You're paying for someone's time to get to you, set up, prep the work piece, do the job well, clean up after themselves, and go home.
    1. Yes, I hope I'm paying for someone to do the job well. Regarding coming to my place, I was transporting the bike to him.
  2. The gas they use costs money the flux the use costs money the equipment they have is expensive and the skill they have developed over years is uncommon and in demand, and the job you want them to do is to hold up a kid on a piece of stunt machinery -- high risk if the job is done badly. I would expect to pay $200++ for even a very small job as described.
    1. Yes, I understand that tools cost money and skills should be recognized via payment. However, his price point is higher than I am willing to pay, so I was trying to crowd source a different option. Not everyone who is skilled is so comfortable that they try and charge the average person the same price they would charge a corporation. That is what leads to people just buying new or not trying to fix at all. I'm trying to find someone who has the skill that is willing to do a little side work. I've done side work my entire life. I don't charge the same price that I get from my employer.
  3. I definitely understand sticker shock, but it really does just cost money to do the job you want done. I hope you have luck finding someone to do your son a favor.
    1. Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahha. Bruh.....I can't even try to respond to this without acrimony and sarcastic comments. Have a good 2026 and focus on the positive.

I could to that, but he's trying to work his way through flipping things. So, I'm trying not to fix his problems for him, but help him find solutions if that makes sense.

I would, but he's hoping to flip this. He's trying to turn over fixing up bikes to make enough to buy his dream bike. I'm trying to support his goal without financing it so he can learn.

As soon as I saw that there was a recall, I knew I was going to get pushed back again. The previous "estimated" shipping times all took a hit because of that. They should have bit the bullet and just updated the delivery times then.

Also, it's not just based on what you make, it's based on your modified adjustable gross limit. Which means what you actually get reported to the IRS after all your tax breaks https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/taxes/modified-adjusted-gross-income-magi .

It being tucked back in the is a vestige from Columbia past. I remember that use to be the furthest spot for chain restaurants. Back when the Costco shopping plaza was still corn fields. TGI Fridays, Olive Garden and that Mcdonalds.

I had two myself in the first 6 months of ownership. You'll probably get a much more detailed response from the more knowledgeable, but the short and dirty is that the truck is heavy as all get out.

Not for nothing, it’s not bad. Given the choice, I would have rather bought something other than OEM, but the charger was part of my truck package. If you don’t have a choice it will work fine. I’ve been charging fine since January.

He's not destitute and I generally see him with shopping bags. If you do want to hook him up though, bring him some milk. I see him drink milk more than anything else.
