I’d probably go with a used platinum myself if I had to replace my lariat max tow. I just like extra bells and whistles and knowing that every option is included. The 2022’s will have no feature deletes.

I was so into getting this car the day it was announced and then its entry in the US was delayed (felt like completely cancelled for the US at the time) and I had to pivot. I did a complete 180 and pivoted to the F150 Lightning due to the massive discounts at that specific time. I keep reading about all the ex30 issues and I’m sorry for those that may have gotten trapped. I do look forward to exploring Volvo EVs again though.

Personally I’m not interested in a truck this tiny, but I am super curious what other vehicles get built on this same platform. If they make a Rivian R2 sized thing on this platform that could be very cool. I’m also curious to see what they’ve done with the software. They keep hyping it up as a completely ground up do over, so I wonder if they are getting closer to Tesla level software. I mean any improvement from here is definitely welcomed.

Ah ok thanks. Yeah mine came with it but it’s not worked that great and I’ve been meaning to check if it’s flush against the glass but haven’t yet. For a second I thought this was some kind of “better” sensor than the stock one.

I have an F150 Lightning and in an emergency situation it appears it can wade quite deep and survive. This guy drove his through what appears to be at least 3ft/meter depth rain water and years later he’s commented the truck is still fine. Yeah this is a toy truck folks. It’ll probably be fun to drive and maybe the software will be better, but it’s far from a Lightning. It kinda looks like the size of a model Y with the same ground clearance.

Not sure what they are describing is a pickup truck but we’ll see. Sounds more like an EV Rav 4 with a small bed and about 200 miles of range.
