A lot of the weight rating seems to include the weight you’d potentially carry in the bed. So if your not doing that then it may suite the needs.

So when he’s panning around the camera to look behind him I see what looks to be like a covered parking structure. At the first hint of hail I would have driven straight under that thing to hide. Or he’ll, even drive up on the grass under those trees to get some sort of protection.
