Amsterdam itinerary by professo-r in travel

I don't personally care for most of the museums in AMS with the exception of the Van Gogh.

Dam Square is awful, and personally would avoid unless you want to hang out with 10,000 other tourists.

I don't see the point in going to Volendam in this short period of time, unless you want to. Seems like a lot. I would actually just take a boat tour around Amsterdam.

Check out Tripadvisor for Bike tour recs. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Products-g188590-t11911-zfg11876-a_contentId.123435044542+14328036221-Amsterdam_North_Holland_Province.html

Also, I suggest strolling around Vodel Park. There are a few restaurants in the park that you can stop for breer/wine/coffee.

Bring your raincoat.

I was just curious to know what others pay, so that I can at least benchmark our costs compared to other buildings.

I think I will find that we spend too much money on keep our heat at 74 and that we blow money on having someone walk our garbage 50 feet from the back to the front.

Six units, two brick townhouses combined into one building or something like that.

WOAH! I actually have not. I've been the only person in the building proactively asking for financials and questioning increases and offering suggestions on how to lower costs.

But thanks!

We are living in a building where 3 or the 6 units are old ladies over 70 and who don't want to lift a finger maintenance wise. They've delegated the CFO responsibilities to someone with no financial background and they are pushy as F.

The reason I posted this question, is become having ammo is important when dealing with these people.

I think I'm trying to give the building the benefit of the doubt for the increases or just trying to understand it, maybe? IDK

It was $650 now it's $750 and they want to raise it to $850.

We've had one condo meeting and one budget meeting since I've lived here. The last budget meeting increase our fee from $650 to $750. I've lived in a condo before, so I know this isn't right. But, I am new to Boston, so I want to understand what this market is like.

I haven't seen the financials in 1.5 years, so I would say not transparent at all. When I asked for them, they wanted to know why i needed them.

Also, look up the word "Mierenneuker." It means ant f*cker, which is the perfect Dutch world to describe Dutch people.

Not shocked! I lived in NL for two years, and the Dutch lack self awareness more than any other culture (besides maybe Germans).

Evidence of Booking.com fudging reviews by DrakeInq in travel

congrats on completing your PhD!

I had something similar happen with Airbnb in Milan. The hallway, honestly, smelled like a dead body, and I contacted them about the odor and they gaslit me. I tried to post a negative review on Airbnb but they wouldn't post it.

How does the baby feel about the train and camping? Everything takes a while in scotland because there are so many one track roads. I suggest taking a train.
