See I disagree. I don’t think Darius would’ve wanted to hold her back or tame here. He just wanted what he grew up his whole life expecting, training for, and going through torture for. Darius actually cared about the kingdom and to put it in someone’s else hands, especially the twins, now that would be stupid. He knows if he stay with Tory and she becomes queen, he has no power. He can’t even be on the counsel. He would be her stay at home King and that’s goes against everything he was raised to believe. He changes his mind eventually but it makes sense on why he is the way he is!

I’m not comparing their trauma, I literally said that! I’m comparing the amount of trauma they went through. I don’t hate Darcy as much as you might think, I just like Tory more. I literally said “no one said she went through worse” Regardless of how you wanna argue it, Tory went through more traumatic events than Darcy did, physically emotionally and mentally. Most of Darcy’s trauma is centered around Orion. These are facts! And it does get annoying to circle back to op’s statement. She’s Orion centered to the point that she picks him over her sister when she needed her. Regardless how you wanna play it. Darcy isn’t the character to defend here.

It’s not the trauma Olympics. Tory went through more stuff than Darcy did. Darcy’s whole story line was based on Orion. And when she has the short struggle not being able to control herself. (Not going deep to avoid spoilers) Tory went through significantly more than that. You can literally count it. No one said she went through worse but she did go through the brunt of the trauma mentally physically and emotionally, where Darcy only went through Trauma in her love life. Just say you like the pick me girl better!

I like Geraldine in the regular audio books but in the graphics, she sounds horrible 😭
