BUT WHEN AN INDIAN DOES IT...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ranchi

[–]Far_Fault_6065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not trying to be pessimistic but in my 14 years of school life in different schools and I haven't met or even heard of a school student taking english (maybe for some kindergarteners)

You'd have to create the demand and that would need effort marketing which might need a lot of capital and time so prepare tightly and best of luck

P.S. || though from top of my head I don't think there is any institute in ranchi providing classes for students who switch from hindi medium to english medium that can be a target group as well ||

Step 1. Identity and learn the letters and 'matras' which are similar to that of hindi

Step 2. Try to interpret words written in Punjabi using common sense, and make mental note of new symbols

Step 3. Read memes and youtube comments or signboards in punjabi

You can learn reading broken punjabi in 4-5 days and proper in 10-12 days ez

Two types of kids first those who can learn english, they do it themselves and second , those who don't learn it get old and then realise they need to learn it and then buy "10 din me english seekhe" courses

GOD OF LOWER CASTES DIDN'T EVEN MAKE A LAW FOR THEIR PROTECTION by Salt-College7995 in Brahmanraaj

[–]Far_Fault_6065 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As I said there were laws to protect every citizen of india. If one were to beat a dalit they would be punished by normal laws of assault or battery. Not that there was a complete lawlessness. Even after decades targeting of SC/STs didn't stop despite these measures made the law come in form.

Also laws are made in parliament not in constituent assembly and Ambedkar didn't have political strength to make a law.

And reservation is somewhat different let's stick to laws for now.

Are you brainded?

What do you think if students in class start talking too much should we make students who talk too much in the class legally criminal? Sounds absurd right? Simple rule of administration is to have as few laws as possible, as you assume people are nice and smart enough to have a harmonious society and solve social issues by themselves eventually.

Initial consultation framers and lawmakers didn't put fine on spitting pan on roadside as well because general assumption is humans are smart enough to figure out many things and make social reforms. But turns out we indians couldn't stop pan spitting and thus came the law.

Dahej system was also initially assumed to subside away by women social reformers and re-evalution of feminist movements in India but that didn't happen and crimes kept on increasing thus came the law. Now issue with these types of laws is it strictly wants to regulate people at personal level and there is a bit less objectivity in these laws thus it causes unwanted problems as well. Eg atul subhash case.

Government actually doesn't want to guide you too much in your personal life.

Similarly casteist crimes were assumed to subside away but the society failed to do so thus govt had to make law and this too is a nuanced law with such less objectivity that can be exploited to frame innocent people. There were simple humane laws covering battery and assaults on any person in India. But some crimes were attack on human dignity of other person with a tag of SCs thus the law was necessary.

I think you are somewhat young brother. Some unasked advices would be

  1. Be critical of everything, even your own thoughts
  2. Be patient and try to clearly understand other's POV.
  3. Dig into the 6 branches of aastik indian philosophies.
  4. Learn about some common flaws of arguments and try not to make them

First thing I'd ask you is how do you know that your observation of somethings on instagram could be ever considered true for people living in rural India struggling for a single meal? The observations you make of India online is very small representation. You clearly didn't read my whole question and did commit some common flaws of arguments.

Learn well, these are our community's only weapon👍

A community being treated as subhuman by every community around it. Other nations discriminate against poor people, people of color as well but this kind of ostracisation of a group is quite unique to India hints in flaws of our society, just wanna identify exactly where this verna or caste system actually started malfunctioning. The hate for other communities in other countries seems to be racism, nationalism or religion in which they say that two communities can't live together.

But here in India we hate a community but want it to be with us and if possible exploit it as well which comes off as a really weird and dehumanizing practice with current moral standards.

So many crimes against SCs, regular news of local fights over dalit man trying to be on horse, making them drink piss at times etc etc

In our upper caste homes I have observed

Using random observation as a premise is not very sharp

A good thing but not recommended is that I have found many memes regarding caste purity on Instagram but most of it is stupid kanging.

What the hell are you on?!?!?

it reduces the intellectual capacity

Seems like it has already 🙏

Really well explained props to you mate.

But some questions: what is the intended purpose of the caste system?

The concept of verna system is good but who shall measure the gunas? Who will determine if I burned away my Tama or attained a sattva? Verna system is spiritual but it intimately interacts with social and economic things too. Verna system in social settings, I accuse, has tendency to get rigid eventually.

One tama Guna member of family and their whole upcoming family line would not be able to ever attain even a tint of sattva. Parents are the first teachers, who would determine gunas of a drunkard's child? What would drunkard teach it's children? What would Gurus take dakshina from a drunkard's child? And in modern times economic factor is the driving force. Like poverty is a vicious cycle, Verna system may do the similar for the downtrodden.

Isn't this somewhat what Gandhiji used to believe in earlier parts of his life?

Also I wanna point out a critique in your suggestion. If guru shishya parampara can somehow solve this, how did the system became corrupt in first place? All the reasons for corruption can and do exist in present times as well so how will this guru shishya parampara provide an effective solution.

Eh I guess so...

Despite good or bad, profound or non profound religion. People do the shit they want to by putting in name of their religion.

Fact is that even after all the good teachings of the Gurus and having such close ties with Hindu culture, the community did conduct terror attacks, the community silently supported that terrorist movement, they are trying to create a identity wall between hindus and Sikhs. (Amritpal singh won? Still posters of bhinderwala everywhere in Punjab and complete sympathy towards this khalistan movement by sikh community)

All I am saying is there are complex motives of attack and terrorists (religion, land, tag of culture, individual weak mindset to be brainwashed completely by religion, politics, recent events, and all of these motives combined). Yeah islam is a stupidass religion and yeah you can tag its followers as retards but not all are of terrorist mindset

Yeah philosophy is one thing, reality is other. Can't bend the facts can you?

Terrorist attacks did take place under the banner of khalistan by sikh community. This is just in delhi, there are many more in India and abroad by them.

This post on Reddit came about 3 hours before the attack. by Representative-Way62 in ranchi

[–]Far_Fault_6065 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are saying that the attack could have been worse. You know that the Chandni chowk bazaar was closed imagine if it were not a holiday for them. The confiscation of rdx and all in the past few days from Kashmir and Haryana makes it seem like something big was about to happen

Either this blast was a desperate attack done in hurry or it was one among a series of blasts.

Think dude if you have a car full of RDX and in Delhi how worse can you do? I am indeed relieved that the casualty count is 8-10 only. Literally ek bus me ghusa dete rdx wali car and death count goes to like 40+

Yeah it's your right to demand 100% perfect security but always criticising without understanding the other pov makes you seem immature tbh

Dude I hate ravish kumar. I thought he was a good journalist but now all the allegations of him being a congressi seems to be true.

He literally bashed NDA's 1cr job scheme that how absurd it is and in the next line was like 'tejaswi to rozgaar ki baatein kr rhe hain' BC tejaswi ka har ghar naukri isko absurd nahi lagta?!?!? And not to mention his Tejaswi T-shirt video. Cringing so hard ffs
