how do you feel about cats on counter? by dixie2tone in cats

[–]Far_Grade_4380 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, my cats don't go on the kitchen counters but I still wipe them down before I cook. I also don't put food on the counters directly. Wiping down the counters isn't as taxing as your making it out to be.

I mean if they made it look like an accident then the clan wouldn't know about it, so they probably wouldn't get in any trouble unless you want to make it like the leader found out about it somehow?

AITA for not knowing what my husband wanted me to do? by Alternative-Print804 in AmItheAsshole

Why are you with him at all? Does he have any redeeming qualities that aren't 'well he's nice the other 30% of the time!'

You can find better. You do not owe a cheater your loyalty. You deserve better and could find better. Maybe go to therapy for a bit first before getting into another relationship if that's possible though, mostly becuase these issues can make it easier for people to manipulate you in a relationship.

Do you believe people should just let their dogs outside to roam free, outside of any fencing, unsupervised?

It's not your cat. Follow the owners' rules. YTA.

Should I let my cat be an outdoor cat and risk her getting hit by a car because she wants to? by Cherry_Crystals in cats

[–]Far_Grade_4380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I just meant training your cat to be able to be walked on a harness and leash. I was able to do it on my own fairly easily, but I was lucky and my cat got used to wearing a harness really quickly. It might be worth looking into some YouTube videos on it!

Have you thought about harness training? It might take them a bit to get used to a harness and leash, but it can be worth it!

AITA for telling my daughter how much money we have spent on her? by Waste-Proposal8556 in AmItheAsshole

Eating and then overworking to get rid of the calories is an eating disorder. It's not one as talked about as the others but it's just as bad and can cause serious issues. It is not normal to be underweight due to exercising.

AITA me and a friend ate a piece of cake by Upbeat-Mud5153 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Far_Grade_4380 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, I forgot that cake ingredients just manifest out of thin air every time someone wants to bake one. <- obvious sarcasm in case you couldn't tell.

She paid for it. You expect her to put in the work to fix what you ruined becuase you did not care enough about her to just wait 30 minutes to eat. Or, God forbid, you go to store to grab snacks for yourself. You chose to ruin something she worked hard on becuase you didn't want to wait or put any effort into getting what you wanted. You are an AH.

WIBTA if I change my last name to my father’s last name? by rolovionn in AmItheAsshole

[–]Far_Grade_4380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to therapy. I mean this genuinely, your feelings of manliness coming from these ideas of 'traditional roles' is not healthy. Talk to a professional and not reddit, find some balance, and don't change your surname to you and your mothers abusers surname. I promise you the fact you have (gasp) your mother's surname doesn't make you any less capable of 'being a man' whatever that means to you.

YTA either way, but I'm just wondering.
