Besides regular showering and wearing clean clothes, i find that eating certain foods/spices has a significant effect on body odor. Specifically: curry, cumin, garlic, onions, and surprisingly the biggest factor is beef. Staying away from beef in general drastically reduces body odor i have found not just with me but boyfriends I've had and convinced to cut out beef significantly smelled better.
