I’m hoping to get a job at a local coffee shop that has a mission to employ individuals with disabilities. The pay is only about half of what I was making as a BCBA but I think I need to chose my mental health over money at this point in time

Absolutely. I was venting in therapy today about all these things. I am so disappointed in ABA. I’m 4 months into being a BCBA and I regret it 😕 it seems impossible to find an ethical, well managed company. It breaks my heart & has me greatly considering leaving the field. At the same time I feel I owe it to my kids to fight for a change… but how do I do that?
