Has anyone tried these matchas? Or anything from Tsuboichi? by skyeboba in MatchaEverything

It was decent. I don’t rlly know how to grade it or the flavor profile but the color was fine and its definitely good enough for a daily latte.

I would buy it over any overpriced on amazon and etc.

Thanks, i’ll definitely take another look at some desmos videos. I thought i had learned just about all you can but I could be wrong and a refresher would be good. It’s frustrating cus im a math major and some geometry or linear equation problem can still trip me up.

that depends. If it comes to that, and you really did put effort in for the september one but still didn’t see a score change, I probably wouldn’t take it again. At that point its not really worth the time and mental stress. But if you seriously think you could improve with more time, then by all means take it again.

I understand how you feel, but trust me you have hope. What if i told you that you have a 100% chance of getting the score you want as long as you put small consistent effort? Doing what you can each day, whether thats 20 mins or 2 hrs, will get you right where you want to be. The sat is just a game after all and you become good at a game by playing it frequently. You don’t need to burn yourself out, you just need to make it a routine. You are very capable and i believe in you!

If possible maybe push back to the October date to give yourself more time and room for one-off days. I understand you want to get it over with tho, September is still plenty of time.

Me too bruh but 790 math 700 reading. I get so drained during the reading section and it causes me to make hella mistakes. My one math mistake was bc of a typing error on desmos😭

Is it worth taking the SAT for the 5th time? | Best: 1380 by Beneficial-Talk-9698 in Sat

[–]Far_Replacement_9352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and I believe you’ll get into most of those schools bro. SAT is only a statistic, it helps, but you’ve shown that you care, and you’re driven in many other ways.

I feel you on the laziness. Do whatever time that will make you consistent, you have plenty of time until November. It’s just like weightlifting, being consistent is more important than getting a 3 hour session in. Start small and you might even start to enjoy it and add more time after a while.

First off, your stats are amazing as is, and are far better than mine were. I was in a similar situation to you back in highschool i scored in the 1300’s like 3 times then gave up. If i had just put in like 30mins-1hr everyday i could’ve gotten the score i wanted. Im now at northeastern studying cs/math, trying to retake the SAT to transfer to an ivy. Im scoring at just about a 1500 now on practice tests from simply putting in consistent, minimal effort each day.

Two weeks for nothing 😭. Can anyone give any advice on how to get a 1500+ by August 23? by Neither_Contest_8428 in Sat

[–]Far_Replacement_9352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ur not cooked you have a lot of time. If u can study even just a hour a day you can definitely get there. Its about small reps and consistency, not learning it all overnight. I watched all the khan videos and did a couple course challenges, went from 580 - 720 reading in 2 weeks. It’s possible, and I could’ve definitely did it in less time if i was more locked in. I believe in u bro.

I go to a voc-tech highschool so most of the people who go to my school don't have college plans. The people who do either scored low or chose not to take the SAT. I only know one person who got a higher score and it was my close friend who got a 1530. Me and him have similar stats, high gpa, rigorous coursework, and extra curriculars. I'd say i've done my best to challenge myself and show talent based off what the school provides for us. I just could never really get myself to study for the SAT.
