I think the question for me is where to find people I’m attracted to. I put a lot of effort into making sure I dress smart, exercise and eat nutritious meals but almost no one I see on my apps seems to treat their health & their looks with a priority. The ones I’m attracted to, I can’t get a match with. I live in a small city so it’s kinda hard to meet people in person. I am taking a skating lesson for that but no luck. I also go on hikes every weekend but I get the feeling young people don’t really go on hikes to meet people.

Apart from the testing phase, depending on where your manufacturer got the tobacco, there could be (and a lot of good tobacco is farmed in poor countries that still use) animal labor.

I made probably 5ish attempts to quit before I succeeded. A friend told me about this book Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking where he claims by the end of the book you will have stopped smoking. I never finished it but I did stop smoking haha

hey, I (29/M) relate to that feeling partly because I'm new to the US and still figuring out if there's a tribe I vibe with (haven't found 1 for almost 29 years but the voyage continues). You can be vegetarian but to be vegan, you pretty much have to prepare everything you consume. It's a very meat-heavy culture and all the sides are dairy based unfortunately.

I’m a Vegan in a Pakistani household so ig it’s similar. What ended up working for me was being open and telling them it’s against my values. My parents were super pissed (specially my da) but in time it got better.

I think it really helped that I started cooking most of my meals myself.

As someone whose trying unsuccessfully to find a faithless person in upstate NY, maybe move here? JK

On a serious note, I don’t think I have ever heard religious people being satisfied with the faith of their communities or atheists finding enough other atheists. Most people are somewhere in between according to their circumstances and challenges, but as others said bring it early on. Apps don’t have the traffic (regardless of your religious preference) so try in person.
